Why Greenhouse?

A greenhouse cultivates the right environment for growth. We believe spiritual growth happens best when people are rooted in love, oriented toward Jesus, and supported by faithful practices and community.

We're not a finished building yet. We're a group of ordinary people in the Gallatin Valley, learning together, showing up for each other, and trusting that God grows what we plant.

Our Beliefs

The Bible

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and without mistakes as originally written. It is the complete revelation of His will for salvation and the only unfailing rule of faith and practice for the Christian life.

The Trinity

We believe in one God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and these three are co-eternal and of equal dignity and power.

Jesus Christ

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ: His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His substitutionary death on the cross, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His imminent return.

Who We Are

We believe people were created by and for God; that by man’s disobedience, every person incurred spiritual death, which is separation from God, and physical death as a consequence; and that all people are sinners by nature and practice.

Salvation

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins and that all who believe in Him are declared righteous because of His sacrificial and substitutionary death and are, therefore, in right relationship with God.

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit indwelling all believers and thus enabling and empowering the life and ministry of the believer.

Our Future Hope

We believe in the bodily resurrection of everyone who has lived, the everlasting blessedness of those in right relationship with God, and the everlasting punishment of those who have rejected God’s forgiveness in His Son.

The Church

We believe the church includes all who have placed their faith in Christ through God’s grace alone. They are united together by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ and are empowered by the Holy Spirit as the means God uses to bring His Kingdom to this earth. The church celebrates the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper as a tangible and visible expression of the gospel.

Greenhouse Staff

Cayla and I have been married for 10 years in September, and blessed to be the parents of our three children Forrest, Huck, and Wynter. We moved to MT from Denver, CO where we attended Denver Seminary and served in a local church for nearly 5 years. While we are both originally from the east coast, we have been fortunate to experience and serve God's kingdom and local church across numerous contexts both in the US and abroad.

I love seeing and releasing people into their God-given potential, being a champion of others, and seeing God's beauty in the mundane. Greenhouse was birthed out of a desire to spend our lives alongside our family growing in love of God and others, and can't wait to see what God does in the years to come.

My husband Andrew and I have been married for 16 years and have two wonderful kids. God called our family to Montana 6 years ago and we are loving this season of life and serving the local church as a family.

During college, God opened the door for me to step into ministry, and He’s continued to lead me in that direction ever since. I’m so excited to see how God is going to move in this season and what He will do in and through the people of Greenhouse Church.

My husband, Hall, and I are newlyweds who are so excited for this new season of life and ministry together. I was raised in Colorado and moved to Bozeman three years ago. What started as a move to Montana quickly became a place where God grew my love for people and the local church.

Heading into college, God opened the door for me to step into ministry, and He has continued to lead me in that direction since. I'm grateful to now share that calling with Hall as we build our life together and serve the church side by side. I love walking alongside people as they grow in their relationship with God and witnessing the ways He brings hope, healing, and new life to their stories. I'm so excited to be part of what God is doing through Greenhouse and to see what He has ahead for this church family.
